Oldies: Pass the Fritos III – Part 1

Although I was born after most oldies music was recorded, like many Americans my age I grew up listening to oldies on the radio and I am thankful for it (especially since most music today stinks). It seems people younger than me are seriously lacking in their knowledge and appreciation of oldies and that is a shame since for decades oldies not only entertained us at work, in the car, and at barbecues but also brought people together and gave us a shared musical history (and still sound great!)

The Animals

Those days are over now and it’s sad watching people becoming more and more splintered, ignorant, and depressed while the music just gets worse. But they can’t take away my oldies music- and there is still so much to discover! Here are some more of my favorite oldies songs. Enjoy!
